Spirit Airlines-Very poor customer service-PLZ HELP SUM1?
i flew Spirit about 3 weeks ago and when I arrived to my designation, I had alot of things stolen from my bag. 5 affliction Shirts, 16 gb ipod, Prada brand new for men perfume, aqua di gio perfume, and 2 guess jeans, and some diamond earrings. I contacted there 1800 number numerous times, left messages, and no call back. Then I contacted there local number where I flew into. They hang up on me while Im talking, and I call back, they just let the phone ring. I contacted the bbb and also the department of transportation to see if there is a way we can resolve this serious issue. All im asking is for a stupid call back, but these morons cant even do it. My family flys almost every two weeks with spirit and its just sick that no one is there to help. I had over 1200 dollars worth of items stolen, and it was in there possession.
If you called this number (English: 800-772-7117) then you won’t get the assistance you need as there are only Reservations Agents at the end of the line.
Instead why not write a carefully-worded letter about your experience and describe what happened being sure to itemize your losses (and include copies of the receipts if you have them) . Then send a registered letter to this address:

Unfortunately though it will be difficult to prove and Spirit may claim that airport ground workers stole your articles as they do not work directly for Spirit but for the airport itself where the theft occurred. Still you may be able to get partial restitution. Did you give notice immediately that there was a theft within four hours of arriving? That would help to establish a claim for tracking purposes.
I do not know why you would ever put valuables like earrings, an ipod etc in your checked luggage especially since bags cannot be locked iin the post9/11 era. Other than the clothes, all the other items should have been in your carry-on bag.
